With the early winter rain and continual cold and wet conditions numbers playing in the Thursday competition have been small and as such the Match Committee has decided that we will trial playing an 18 hole competition on the front nine only. This will allow players to play the front nine twice which is always much drier than the back nine whilst still being handicapped.
The competition will be adjusted on a week by week basis so players signing in on the morning simply need to check their card to determine if they will be playing the standard 18 holes or playing the front nine twice.
Due to numbers and the current booking sheet these changes will not alter the running of the Saturday members competition whilst all members are reminded that if they play on any other day of the week they are eligible to play in the weekly competition.
