2017 Club Championship Qualifying Scores - Rounds 1 & 2

Winners of the monthly medal each month through the season qualify for the Medal of Medals competition which will be held on Saturday 28th October. The best gross stroke score in each grade on the day will be the Medal of Medal winner. Qualifiers for the 2016-17 season can be found in the document below:

The new 17th green has come along well and the new green and hole will officially open on Saturday 14th October. To celebrate we encourage as many members to come out and play. With the course starting to look very lush and the greens bouncing back well from their coring there is no better time to dust the clubs off after winter and get back out on the course.

To celebrate the holes opening the 17th hole sponsor, the Victoria Hotel in Strathalbyn, have provided vouchers for use at the hotel which will be used as nearest the pin prizes on the day, with one available in each grade.

With daylight savings now in full swing it is time once again to start out twilight competition.

Players can come out and tee off between 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at a cost of $5 for members and $12 for visitors, even if you do not have an official handicap. Costs cover 9 holes of golf and entry into the competition whilst a BBQ will be available afterwards and the bar will be open.

The 2017 Mixed Foursomes Championship will be held on Sunday October 29th from 8:00 am. The competition is open to both members and visitors with official golflink numbers with a cost of $15 for members and $30 for visitors including golf, competition fees and a BBQ lunch afterwards. Visitors will be eligible to win the competition on the day but both the gross and net championships can only be won by pairings of two members.

Anyone looking to play can book themselves in on the sheet at the club or by emailing [email protected]. If you do not have a partner for the event you will be paired up where possible. If enough pairings are entered competitors will be assigned tee times, otherwise the event will commence from the first tee at 8:00 am.

Members with a handbook may note that the planned date for this competition was 5th November however this date was required to be changed and as such the correct date is Sunday October 29th.
