The club has two upcoming Women's Events which are open to visitors:

On Wednesday 13th November 2013 the annual Pink Ribbon Day will be held. This is a fundraiser for breast cancer research with all details and the entry form found in the attached Pink Ribbon Day flyer.

The second event is the annual Women's Open Day February 24th 2014. Details for this event as well the an entry form can also be found in the attached Women's Open Day flyer.

Be quick as these events always fill up quickly and numbers are limited.

From 1st November 2013 Green Fees will be increasing as follows:

Monday & Tuesday: 

Adults - $20    /    Under 18 - $10

Wednesday to Sunday

Adults - $25    /    Under 18 - $15

Whilst the club continues to aim to ensure all Green Fees and Membership options are as affordable as possible increases in fees are inevitable from time to time. However the club still believes that the above Green Fees, as well as our various Membership options provide excellent value. If you have any questions feel free to contact the club.

EDIT 19/10/2013: Round two results and the match ups for the first week of the matchplay component are now uploaded onto our Club Championship page.

Results for round one of the Club Championships can be found on our Club Championship page. This page will be updated next week with details of qualifiers in each grade and this information will also be uploaded into the clubs online booking system.

Members looking to play in our Club Championships should confirm that their entry has been received and if not ensure that they complete an entry form before next weeks round.

The trial of our new online booking system has now finished and the new rules for using the system, and penalties for those who do not, will be in force beginning 12th  October 2013. These rules are outlined in the User Policy listed on the front page of the website under the Member Login button along with the FAQ document.

The policy and FAQ along with other important information can also be found at dedicated Member Login page. This system will only be as effective as the members make it and as such the Match Committee will be enforcing the rules as outlined in the User Policy to ensure the smooth running of the online booking system.

Thanks to some fine weather the course has now dried out sufficiently and will be open once again to motorised carts. This means that members will be able to use their own motorised carts whilst the club carts will also be available to hire for both members and visitors.

As per normal members and visitors are expected to take care of the course and use the carts in a manner that takes into consideration any sensitive areas of the course and any inappropriate use will result in players having their motorised cart privileges revoked or the immediate cancellation of hire.

A BIG congratulations to Echunga Junior Billy Cawthorne who is the 2013 Golf SA Country Junior Champion after winning the 54 hole championships held at Pt Lincoln Golf Club on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd of September with a three round total of 228 (76, 80, 72).

Going into the final round 4 shots behind the leader Billy played a near flawless round of golf to shoot a closing even par 72 to win by 4 shots. 

Congratulations also to fellow Echunga member Elliott Willgoose who along with Billy formed part of the Southern Districts team who took out the boys team event.
