Heading into winter and our wet season this situation will be constantly monitored by the Committee and any changes to the ban will be updated on the website.
Unfortunately due to the recent rain the course is now getting very wet and to try and maintain the course conditioning the Committee, in consultation with the ground staff, have decided that motorised carts, both the club hire carts and members with personal motorised carts and buggies (ride on), will not be allowed on the course until further notice.

If this means self propelled buggies (not ride on) it will make it hard for such as myself being almost 80 yrs of age and having some difficulty pushing carts, particularly if for a prolonged period.

Hi Jim. This ban applies to motorised carts of the ride on variety only and I have altered the post so this is clearer. Please note though that this ban is in entirely in place in order to protect the condition of the course and any difficulty caused to members is an unfortunate but unavoidable consequence.
