The 2016 Foursomes Championships will be held slightly earlier this year due to a change in the upcoming 2016-17 program. As such qualifying for the event will be held on Saturday the 20th February with finals held on Saturday the 27th February.
As per past events, the pairs with the 4 best gross scores on the 20th will play off in the finals, playing match play in a 18 hole semi final in the morning followed by an 18 hole match play final in the afternoon of the 27th.
Based on feedback from previous years the net event will also feature a match play final with the top two teams qualifying to play an 18 hole handicap match play final in the morning of the 27th.
Given the finals series players will need to nominate their availability to play on the 27th in order to qualify. Nomination forms will be available when players register on the morning of the 27th.
