Due to the recent bad weather the course will be closed to carts until further notice. This is effective from 14/06/2012.
This is an unfortunate implication of our clay based soils and is not a decision taking lightly by the Grounds Committee, however after inspecting the course and discussing the conditions with our Superintendent the Grounds Committee have decided that it is in the best interests of our course to not allow carts until further notice.
The full Management Committee is due to meet on Wednesday the 20/06/2012 and the use of carts and decisions surrounding the closure of the course will be discussed.
