From Thursday 30th April an updated booking sheet will be implemented.
Details and demonstrations can be found here. The Opening Day will go ahead on 4th April as planned.
However, because of the corona virus we must change the format. The event will be a stableford event, bookings will be available on the website as usual. There will be no meal as the clubhouse remains closed and we must not congregate before, during or after the event. Hopefully, this time next year we will have a double strength, super-duper opening day to celebrate our resilience and survival. To minimise the risk of Covid-19 infections, the committee has decided to postpone the club presentation night which was scheduled for 18th April.
A new date for this will be announced here and on the club website when one is decided. Note: Opening Day (4th April) will still go ahead, but with some changes to the format - see the next post. The committee has determined that anyone who has recently returned from overseas or who has flu like symptoms will NOT be permitted to enter the club until 14 days have passed since their return and the symptoms have passed.
All members and guests are encouraged to maintain safe social distancing (which means keeping a gap of about 1.5 meters (5 feet) between you and others, NO handshakes, NO hugging (Ben Slack please note)) and, above all else to WASH YOUR HANDS properly and often. Changes to the program will be signalled here and the program updated as quickly as we can. Further information is available here: At the recent club AGM, the following committee was elected:
